The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) came into existence in 2012, after the Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League (MSJFL) was renamed in order to better represent the League's geographical spread and its presence in south-east metropolitan Melbourne.
In 2016, the SMJFL consists of 26 member clubs, fielding over 400 teams playing Australian Rules football across 56 competitions. The SMJFL caters for age groups ranging from Under 9s to Under 18s, including four compeitions for girls – Under 9s, Under 12, Under 15 and Youth Girls.
With over 9,200 participants involved in the League each weekend, 2016 will be one of the biggest years yet in the history of the SMJFL.
The SMJFL TV site is designed as a unique database of Grand Final vision from past SMJFL seasons. This website will enable players and of all ages to relive the magical moments from their Grand Final performances. These matches will be stored on the site for many years to come. All matches are also available for sale via digital download.
SMJFL TV will also act as an invaluable resource for our clubs and volunteers via access to special informative and educational video resources to help develop our players, coaches and volunteers.
